End of contract

Your monthly rental payments are due from the point the vehicle is delivered until it is returned.

• If your final monthly invoice has been issued, vehicle collection can be arranged and your final payment should be paid.
• If the vehicle is returned after the contract end date, you will need to pay for any additional days. You will be billed in arrears for the number of days between contract end date and vehicle collection.

We don’t automatically collect the vehicle at the end of your contract - you have to contact us to arrange collection. You can request a vehicle collection online here.

When vehicles are returned at the end of their contract, they should be in good condition for their age and mileage.

To ensure we treat all our customers fairly and consistently, we use the industry standard guidelines provided by the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA) to determine whether any charges should apply. Vehicle inspections are carried out by an independent inspector.

If you receive an end of contract damage charge, this is due to damage on the vehicle exceeding the acceptable limits.

Damage charges are exempt from VAT and are in place as compensation for damage caused to Hyundai Contract Hire’s vehicle. This is standard industry practice.
